A fairly extraordinary weekend of racing, much of which has been covered elsewhere. But…:London marathon first. Some outstanding performances, Tracy Rogers 2.57, 3rd in the Welsh marathon champs, Jack Bromley an unbelievable 22nd overall in 2.22, Ricky 2.37, Simon Roberts 2.57 (but only bumping into Tracy at the finish line) and Liam Rogan 3.29.
Borders league saw some stupendous performances with all to play for in the final (rearranged) fixture – all results in the usual place. Elliot and Matt Rose, back on form towards the top of the leader board, plus John P-T and Jennifer first in category. Les, Fenn and Jeff right up there in their categories too – but I don’t want to offend anyone by omission – please check the actual results!

In the hills, Pete Gray, Caroline Caffery and evergreen Huw Lewis did superbly well at the Moel Wnion race above Bethesda, and Jez Brown put in his usual stellar performance in the Peak at the Kinder Downfall race. Phew.
