Round up of Buckley Runners in races this week.
There were two races to choose from on Wednesday 29th June . Dave White raced the short and brutal Moel y Gaer race with an excellent 3rd position.
12 Buckley Runners raced in Helsby Woods in the challenging Robbie Webster’s Wobbler race, winning the team prize (Ricky Challinor, Cally, and Sam Bellis) and Cally winning the first veteran trophy. Positions were Ricky 2, Cally 3, Sam 8th, Jez 10, Simon Roberts 13, Simon Mara 24, Simon Edwards 25, Pete Gray 27, Stu Thomas 55, Steve Bellis 60, Iain Hobson 72, John Morris 89.
Moel Siabod fell race on 1st July, a 5 mile dash up and down the rough terrain of this Snowdonia mountain saw three of the more mature gents out, with Steve Toogood winning the V60 category, and strong runs from Huw Lewis and John Morris.
