The Welsh Cross Country Championships at Rhug was a splendid event; fabulous venue, interesting weather, good tough course and fine results. We had teams in both men’s and ladies races. The men were just outside the medals and the ladies team took the silver! Both results are fantastic for the club especially when you consider that we are small club up against the likes of Swansea, Cardiff and Brecon and that this is a “seniors” event (there are no vets categories). Something to be really proud of! Click here for link to Cross Country results and there are photos of the runners crossing the stream at the far end of the course on our Facebook page. Big thanks to everyone who took part, to Prestatyn RC for organising and to the people from clubs across North Wales who marshalled on the day showing what a good event we can put on in North Wales.
AGM is on Tuesday 24th
Next Pub night is on Tuesday 3rd
Round 4 of Borders League is at Prestatyn (organised by Prestatyn RC) on Sunday 8th (Details are on BL website. Note it is a new venue)
