The training sessions are planned specifically with improvement and development at the forefront. With a busy race calendar ahead of us it would be great to see many runners in attendance.
Tuesday 26th
- Training Night: Meet at Buckley Sports Centre 7 pm for 7:15 pm start
- Intervals Group 1&2: Bollards, 6 x 1km (Run Leader: Chris Callaghan & Les Coathup)
- Improvers: Golf Course 5.8 Miles at varying paces to suit all runners (Run Leader: Jason Dwan)
- 1k to 5k and beyond group: 30 minutes non stop walk/jog/run plus 1 lap (Run Leader: Alli Hunt)
Wednesday 27th
- Fell Race: Robbie Webster Wobbler, Frodsham 7.15pm Start (please allow plenty of time to register beforehand)
- Road Race: Wirral Seaside Run 5K, Leasowe Lighthouse, Leasowe 7pm Start
Thursday 28th
- Training Night: Meet at Buckley Sports Centre 7pm for 7:15pm start
- Efforts: 3-2-1 Pyramid Session, Alltami (Run Leaders: Chris Callaghan)
- Improvers: Wepre Park 2k warm up lap followed by timed 5k Park Run Route (Run Leader: Jason Dwan) -Meet at Wepre Park Car park 7pm
Saturday 30th
- Wepre parkrun: 9 am at Wepre Park
- 5k Handicap Session: 10:45am for an 11am Start at the Bollards
Sunday 1st July
- XC Training: Buckley Common. Options either 5.3k or 5.4 Mile. Meet at 9:45am on the corner of The Common (opposite sports centre entrance)
- Improvers: Long Run: 6:15am, meet at Ewloe Car Auctions, Distance vary between 8 to 11 miles (Contact Jason Dwan)
- Tinkersdale 9 mile. Meet Tinkersdale Car Park, Hawarden. 8.45am for 9am Start (Run Leader: Eddie Davies)
- Trail Race: Fairy Freckled Cow, Llyn Alwen Reservoir 11.30am Start
- Road Race: Southport Half Marathon and 10k, Victoria Park, Southport. 9am Start
- Road Race: Aldereley Edge Bypass 10k, Alderley Edge, Cheshire. 9.30am Start
